OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON VEGETABLE OIL

Vegetable oil contains Essential Fatty Acids (EFA) that the human body cannot produce on its own.
EFA like Linoleic acids and Linolenic acids are supplied to the human body through diets. So it is therefore necessary and healthy to consume diets made with quality vegetable oil on daily basis.

Vegetable oil is a source of lipids for human nutrition for the repairs of worn out tissues, formation of new cells, and a good source of energy.
The quality and stability of vegetable oil is therefore very important for the consumer's nutrition. Some vegetable oil like Palm oil have high saturated fatty acids, which when consumed in excess, could have adverse effects on the health of the consumer as it could gradually clog the artery, thereby making the consumer prone to the risk of cardiovascular illness. It is therefore highly recommended that Palm oil is consumed moderately

Some vegetable oils are better than others in terms of health and nutritional value because of the different levels of Fatty Acids Composition in them.

Our vegetable Oils has a Caloric Value of 900 Kilocalories (3700 Kilojoules) per 100 grams of oil.

For best results, change oil used for frying after 6 to 12 fry depending on the type of food product being fried.
It is not advisable to re-purify vegetable oil that has been used up for frying as it would have completely lost it's nutritional qualities.
Wet food products should be dried of water before immersing in hot oil to avoid splashing or splattering of the oil when frying.

Filter oil of remnant of food particles after each fry. It is not advisable to add fresh oil to used oil for frying.

Soybean oil contains the essential fatty acids linoleic and linolenic. Linoleic and linolenic acids are required for human health.
Soybean oil is rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids reduce the risk for heart diseases and can prevent osteoporosis.
Soybean oil contains phytosterols which could lower LDL cholesterol.

NUTRITIONAL VALUE OF PALM OIL
Palm oil, long perceived as an unhealthy tropical oil, is actually a beneficial fat source when in its natural form.
Palm oil is high in saturated fatty acids, but,it is good for human health when consumed moderately.
Unrefined Palm oil remains a much healthier oil than any hydrogenated vegetable oil.
Palm oil comes from the fruit of the Elaeis guineensuis tree, also called the African oil palm tree.
Palm oil is the most versatile of all vegetable oils. Consisting of 50% saturated fat and 50% unsaturated fat.
It is semi-solid at room temperature. Palm oil is highly resistant to oxidation, this help it to maintain stable quality through the shelf life.
The consumption of Palm oil is often being frowned at because of its saturated fat content. The saturated fatty acids of Palm oil, like coconut oil, are actually not as harmful as the public believes, and in fact actually have health benefits.
They are medium chain triglycerides (MCTs). MCT's are only found in mother's milk, tropical oils, and milk fat. They are extremely easy for the body to digest and it increases the body energy efficiency.
Medium chain fats can be directly converted into energy in the liver, unlike other fats which must be processed in the intestine and then absorbed into the bloodstream.
MCT's are a valuable source of nutrition for people who cannot easily digest other fats, as well as athletes who can benefit from the highly efficient energy.
Not only is palm oil a rare source of medium chain fatty acids, it is also a source of healthy unsaturated fats.
Palm oil is cholesterol-free. It is a well-balanced fat, with 39% oleic acid (omega-9) and 10% linoleic acid (omega-6).
These essential fatty acids help to lower blood cholesterol levels in the body.
They are necessary for bone, joint, and skin health.
Palm oil is a rich source of antioxidants. It is the richest vegetable oil source of tocotrienols - which are a potent form of vitamin E. Vitamin E strengthens the immune system, and protects skin cells from toxins and UV radiation.
From its reddish-orange hue, Palm oil is also a good source of beta-carotene, a nutrient found in sweet potatoes, carrots, and other orange foods.
